Head in the Clouds

For some strange odd reason today I felt really happy, joyful, cheerfuy, etc. I'm really not sure why though. I mean today at lunch I loved how they put music on and all the songs they played ether fit the mood or I just loved them. At one point I just felt like getting up and taking a little strut around the quad and say hi to some of my friends, so I did :). I still didn't know why I was so happy but I didn't care because I just loved the feeling I had. But when I really put some thought into it I still didn't have an answer but I did come up with some pretty good reasons.

>> When I saw my friend Nicole this morning she said that I looked cute today. Even though I was wearing my brothers Reggie Bush jersey. I always try to compliment people and it just felt good to get one back.

>> It was a wonderful bright sunny day and I was wearing my brand new white flats to school today. I love the feeling I get when I wear my new shoes.

>> Remember that guy Connor that I mentioned yesterday? Well we have really only known each other for a couple of weeks but now we found more time to actually get to know each other when we pass by in the halls. I found out from my friend Rachel that he is a Christian like us! It feels good to be able to talk to him about our faith, church, etc. FYI I don't like him we are just friends. Just keep that in mind whenever I talk about one of my guy friends, please.

>> The popcorn that I had for lunch was very very yummy.

>> I presented my music vido today in R&T class (research and tech.). It is basicly a power point with the lyrics and pictures that fit with them. I did Tonight by the Jonas Brothers. I think it turned out really good. Some of my classmates and teacher even laughed at the funny pictures I put on there.

>> When I asked my English teacher about why I was is a real good mood she said, "Well maybe because you are feeling a lot better from being sick. Or maybe because you guys only will be quizzed on chapters 7-11 of To Kill a Mockingbird instead of 7-12,"

>> The Refinery Student Art Festival is this weekend. I have 3 photos and a poem that will be in the show. Tomorrow I have to bring my art work in for the show.

>> I have about 35 or 34 days left of my freshman year left to go.

>> Tomorrow is already Friday and I love Fridays.

>> My mom just now came in the room and gave a brand new peacock feather head band. This one is purple and purple is my favorite color :). I love surprises like that.

So I'm sorry about the post from last night. I also apologize if I offended anyone, I just was upset about some of the dress up days. I would like to thank you Alec and so this post is all thanks to you my friend. Enjoy. :)

Post numero 2>> POP QUIZ!! Where do I go to every school day, comes after 2nd period and the class I blog about the most of all of them. If you guessed algebra then you are correct. But if you guessed Monkey Spanish then you should probably go see a doctor as soon as possible! Now on to the blog story. So everyday during the morning announcements they do "Question of the Day", My teacher doesn't do it but sometimes we try to guess anyway. So today's question was, "What is the largest fish". Now you all remember that kid named Will right? Well he guessed Wale Shark turns out he was right and said this:

Will: YES! I called that one Mr. Bohen! I got it right!
Mr. Bohen: Dude go outside and try to find someone who cares, then bring them in here.
Will: Really? Ok.

About a minute later Will came in the room with my friend Conner:

Will: I found someone!
Conner: Hey, Maddy what is going on?
Me: I will tell you at lunch

When lunch came Kiis FM was there for Prom Spirit week. And in honor on Prom they brought out 2 awesome limos!! One was a Lincoln limo the other was the always amazing HUMMER LIMO!!! But when I went over there Conner was over there and I told him what was with Will bringing him in my math class. He was just glad Will saved him from a test he was doing outside and that I was there to explain the weird event.

Today's was probably the biggest disappointment of them all. I mean come on sailor day? Is that the best they could come up with? Since I was up set about some of these days my friend showed this web site of all kinds of dress up days. The one that I really liked was Cowboys and Indians day. I mean that's simple and fun. And I bet a lot of people would dress up on that day. Tomorrow I will just wear a white v-neck, some basketball shorts, my knee-high socks with my Vans.

My Worst Nightmare

Last night I was watching Bridge to Terabithia with my brother Zac. It was so sad near the end the best friend died. At first I thought, "Wow that's sad. I can't imagine what it would be like to loose one of my great friends." I hate that I said that! The reason why is because I had a dream where one of good friends died! It was terrible, I hate dreams like that. I even woke up crying from it, it was so sad :'(.

My Weekend!!!

To describe my weekend in one word it would be AWESOME!!!! It was filled with singing, a fun Dominican Republic meeting, awesome friends, and 8 hours at the Refinery! So kick back with a pound of rice and enjoy this fine blog post.

Story number uno: Setting: The Edge: Well we sang for the 5th and 6th graders "the Edge". And of course the room was full for crazy kids, they were even standing on the chairs and dancing along to the songs. The sad part was that we weren't even that loud so the kids were singing over us. Also on Sunday there was this one kid who was screaming the song "Take it All" But it was fun any ways.

Story number dose: Setting in front of the Refinery: Since we sang in the beginning of the service we had a lot of spare time. On Saturday during the 4:30 surface. Some of the guys decided to play volleyball while I chose to take so pictures. Here you go.

Story number three: Setting: Outside the old Jr. High tent: During the D.R. meeting we did a team building game. The Rules: there was hot lava and one pair of magic shoes. Now only one person can use the shoes once. We had to get everyone on the other side. So in order to do that some of us had to be carried. It was a little weird to have some of my guy friends carry me to the other side of the grass area. We weren't able to win but we were close. Pulse we learned a lot about how important teamwork and communication is.

All and all it was a really great weekend. I am just sad to see it gone.

Every 15 Min.

Apparently there was a thing at my school that the Juniors and Seniors did yesterday called Every 15 Min.It was something about drunk driving or something like that. Now keep in mind that I wasn't there to whiteness this so if you go to my school and happen to be reading this please excuse me if I say something wrong. My friend Erica said that in the middle of the day they did a picked about 15-20 kids to do this demonstration. They pretended that there was an accident that was caused by a drunk driver that killed all the kids. Then a helicopter landed on the track field and everything!Then they decorated the school with little stories about the kids that "died" on the lockers and placed pictures of them on the stage in the quad. The kids that "died" didn't even go to school yesterday and today. Also they are not allowed to call anyone, some are at a hotel and others are in jail. I think it would be crazy to be involved in something like this.

Now because of all the craziness that happened yesterday today's schedule was weird:
Per: 4 and 3
Break
Per. 2 and 1
Lunch
The only normal part was having period 5 and 6 after lunch.

Hooray for backwards day!

Oh well it was kinda fun to come back to school from being sick with this schedule. :)

The End of MY Spring Break

Wow my real spring break was really 2 weeks ago. It seems like forever ago when I was hanging out with my friends a lot. Then I missed all of school last week due to the fact that I was sick. Went back to school Monday but left at lunch because I got sick again and haven't been at school since. But that has come to an end because i will be going back to school tomorrow. I'm glad that i went to school Monday because i got all my homework. It's not as much as i thought, mainly from Math but still not so much. That's normally all I have for homework anyway. But it's cool because my super awesome math teacher said i can turn in the work whenever! I really should get it done A.S.A.P. though, hey I did 2 pages last night. The other work that I got was a worksheet from English plus they are reading To Kill a Mocking Bird. I read that book last year and loved it, I also knew all the answers to the questions my teacher gave me, easy. 

But rather I like it or not this is the final stretch until summer vacation. But there is something that comes on the last few days of school, you know what I'm talking about. I'm talking about finals. Call me crazy but I'm actually excited for them, don't worry you aren't going insane you heard me correctly. The reason why is because I don't have any honors classes so they don't pile work on me, which is nice, they give me a study guide which also doesn't have too much work on it. Also all the stuff on the study guides are on the test. I also like the fact of only going to 2 classes a day and then going home at noon. But now that I think about it all those things are not too far from now. All the waiting and working will all be worth it when I hear that final bell ring. Or as I like to call it, the sound of freedom!

P.S.. Sorry for the super long post.

P.P.S. I wrote this on a Mac when I looked at the dash board and saw the icon for iCal, and the picture showed the date July 17th. I wish.

Am I Really That Desperate

For the past few days all I can think about is summer. And it comes up in most of my conversations, rather it's, "I can't wait for summer" or, "I am going to have the best summer EvEr!" It will be filled with fun, friends, the beach, camp, seeing my cousins in Ohio and of course DoMiNiCaN rEpUbLiC tRiP! So for the past few days I either:

1. Count down the days left of school on the calender


2. Count down the weeks


3. Count down the months


4. Write down summer movies to see


5. Look online and plan to shop for cool summer clothes


6. Write down all the days I am out of town


7. Plan summer activities to do with friends


8. Etc.


9. Etc.


10. Etc.

Man, I am desperate.

But did I say you could just pop up out of no where and take over? No I did not. Did I say you could come in with out clouds? No I did not. Did I say that you can cause me to heat up by just standing and talking to my friends? No I did not. Did I say you were allowed to cause my bed to be warm resulting me to not sleep good tonight? First of all that's not funny, second no I did not! Did I say that you could also bring your evil friend Mr. Hot Wind with you? No I did not. And finally did I say you are welcome at all? NO I DID NOT!!!

So please I beg you, GO AWAY! Now would be nice.

What a Gem

Baby it's Hot Outside

As some of you know I don't do good in hot weather. I hate it too. And I felt a lot better when I checked the local weather.

Little by Little

I'm starting to feel better. After a week of doing nothing and being sick it feels good to actually move around the house. I'm still coughing a little but other that that I really think I'm getting better. Now I can go to church tomorrow I'm really excited to see everyone there. And I can also go to school Monday. I love my friends sooo much and thank God for them every day.

I Realized a Thing or 2 this Week

1. I have a busy weekend ahead of me this weekend and next weekend. This weekend because of all the homework I have to make up for missing 3 days of High School, fun. Next weekend because I will be singing at HSM. I'm excited for that one, :)
2. When you're sick staying up 'till 10........bad idea. But in my defense I was watching American Idol.
3. I still need to send out me support letters if I want to go to the Dominican Republic.
4. Speaking of the Dominican Republic, I realized this is a really big step I'm taking, and that it requires sacrifice.
5. I really am upset that iTunes raised their song prices. And of course they had to pick the most random number, it's like $1.29 now. It's stupid really.
6. I am slow at texting and almost never actually call a friend to just talk. I am not sure why too.
7. I am also a sucker for a real good photos. 
8. I am sick and tired of being sick and tired. I hate being in the house 24/7 and I can't help but just wanting to get in the car and go some where. But there is one flaw to the fact I don't have my license, heck I don't even have my permit.
9. Sometimes I wish I had an iPhone even though AT&T is terrible. It would be cool to have all those apps and all my music. Just all those things in one device. I guess I just want a new phone, but I have to wait till July. Oh well that's not to long away right. Right?
10. It's supposed to be 90 on Monday, that's not right.

Pet Peeves

Some of the things that I really just don't like at all.

1. When I say to myself, "I know I came in here for a reason".
2. People obsessing over fictional vampire characters.
3. Can a person update there status on facebook without people saying, "looks familiar" or "copyer".
4. Thinking you are about to sneeze but never do.
5. When my brothers kick my seat in the car.
6. When people Boo Simon Cowell about his judges when they know he's right.
7. Loosing thoughts
8. Seeing my room a mess

Spring Break '09 so Fine

I LOVED my spring break, no regrets. It still feels weird that I don't go to the same school as my brothers though. You'd think by now I would get over it. But I just don't like it when My brothers have a day off of school when I don't. The reason why I say that is because As of now they are on spring break. I'm still sick so I guess you can say my spring break is not over yet. Also they get out of school 10 days before me. Seriously how unfair is that! Ow well, I should look on the bright side, I have about 48 days left until summer. Come on summer hurry up would ya! I miss you very much......I'm waiting.......Still waiting.

25 Other Random Facts About Me

As if I didn't do this already. Sue me, it's fun.

1. What was once my poetry book is also now my quiet time journal. It is basically things that are on my mind a lot. I usually write at night in my bed with my iPod on. The reason why I do it late at night is because it's kinda privet.
2. I wish I could do certain things to my math book.
3. I have a ring I wear everyday even when I'm sick. I feels weird if I don't have it on.
4. Photo shoots with my friends is one of my favorite things in life.
5. I love to sing
6. I wish we lived in a world where we burst into random song and dance. Although I kind of already do that at school and church.
7. I write poetry, deal with it
8. I love the song "The Climb" by Miley Cyrus. I almost cried when I saw her sing it in the movie. I also love what she said before she sang, "Life's a climb but the view is great."
9. That is one of my favorite quotes now. ^^^
10. I am a sucker for a good poem, a moving song, a long walk while having real deep conversations with the friends I'm close with. "It makes me melt like a popsicle on the 4th of July"
11. I wish I was more athletic
12. I'm not a big fan of watching my favorite sports teams on TV unless I'm with a friend. Otherwise just tell me the scores and I'm good to go. It's also way more fun if you are there.
13. I love Harry Potter, my favorite is Ron Wesley. And I plan on going to the midnight premier of Half Blood Prince.
14. I need to start drivers ed ASAP! That is if I want to get my permit on my half birthday which I do.
15. I get along with guys better that I do with girls. I guess that's because of the fact I have 3 brothers.
16. I wish I had a Mac, I've had it with PC's they bother me.
17. I don't have my ears pierced, and don't plan on it anytime soon. Needles make me you know.
18. Since I am more "musical" than my brothers I get more annoyed with some flaws a band makes. Whether it's and instrument problem or singing.
19. I hate it when my room is messy.
20. I love being able to be in the HSM choir but I wish that I was a front singer. I hope I make the audition in May. If not I will still be in choir.
21. Sometimes I wish I knew how to play the guitar or drums.
22. I am still trying to figure out Twitter
23. I miss the beach so much it makes me sad.

On Easter my mom and dad get me and my brothers little gifts. I got a headband with a peacock feather on it, Sees chocolate eggs, 2 packs of Sour Patch Kids, a DVD, and some NYC stickers. I almost laughed out loud when I saw that my brother Zac got a Chuck Norris DVD.

Sorry Guys

I'm sorry that I haven't blogged in a while. Here are my reasons:

1. I have been busy for once.
2. The keyboard in my parent's room is broken. I tried to blog last night but like I said It's broken.
3. Thanks to my brothers I am sick. I hate being sick. I haven't even eaten all day. And I have a very low supply of energy. Unfortunately the only thting Ty and Carson share with me is their germs. ugh.

Pizza Just Fell from the Sky

Yesterday me and my friend Jamilyn were walking from lunch at In-in-Out. But on our way over there the strangest thing happened. As we were on our way all of the sudden a piece of pizza fell down.,it was so weird. We thought some bird dropped it or something. But still that is definitely something you don't see every day. Or any day in this case.

There are going to be changes around here.

I'm done, done with trying so hard to be a friend and completely forgetting who I really am. I try I really do but things come up. Here goes something.

Who am I to act like I have known my church friends for as long as they have known each other. I sometimes don't like school and I guess that it is my way to escape from it. I'm so focused on being a friend that I don't know what to do or say. I need to stop living in my own little world where everything is fine, welcome to reality. I need to stop trying to be someone I'm not. God loves me for who i am. How can I be so stupid. I admit at times I can be way to hard on myself and sensitive too. And I can't believe how many stupid times of the day all i think about is myself. All I probably think about is myself. I don't like it and definitely need to work on it more that I do. But hey that's life. I also need to forget about the past and forgive those who wronged me back at Calvary. I made a mistake we all do at times. But here's the deal, from now on I won't be blogging about things other people blogged about. It was stupid to do that in the first place. And I am going to just be myself, no one else.

If any of my HSM friends are reading this I want to say a few things. To start with is that I very, very, very sorry. I just want you guys to be my friends. You guys are so great. Evey word I said here is true. I know you guys have known each other for years and I guess I wanted to be apart of that. But I was wrong to do that. You guys have been great to me for the past few months and I thank you for that. I had a hard year at Calvary and hope you can understand. But also keep in mind that I only get to see you guys once a week and I'm you know, excited.

And for all you guys at FHS take note on this. It's like I said from now on I am going to just be myself. If you don't like that then well, never mind. Let's just say I want people to like me for who I am.

So I got a E-Mail for my school saying, "Freshmen, Sophomore, Junior, and Seniors are allowed to attend the prom" Yep, the so called rummer was true. Still not going. Still not going. Did I mention I'm not going

Awkward Moments

It's fun to make situations awkward...that is depending on the situation. Anyways last night I went to Rainforest Cafe with the family. While we we're waiting for our food I when over to the bathroom. There was already a group of girls in there that were all from some kind of party or something. When I walked into the stall one girl said, "wait are we all in the stalls? I going to take a picture of our shoes". I guess she looked at the picture and said,"Wait who has the Vans on?" I saw this as a perfect opportunity to make this awkward so I said in a deep kind of guy voice, "It's me". I was try so hard not to laugh after the girls all said, "Ahhh we need to get out of here".

Surprising Surprises

Ever since I went back to school heathy I have had some unexpected suprises.

1. On Wed. when I came into my English class the teacher gave me a sheet of paper. Now I was thinking it was some kind of homework assiment that I missed while I was sick. But boy was I way off. Instead it was a note that said that my poem was going to be in the schools FIRST litterature magizine! I still can't believe it, being a freshman and all getting this kind of oppertunity it was my Maze poem that made it. Ah, I am so excited to see it in the magazine!
2. Today in Science the teacher was giving out the cirtificets for the Honner Roll students. As he was calling all the names I was just thinking in my mind, "Those guys are so lucky." And you might be thinking, "Maddy why do you care?" Well because if you are on the Honner Role then you get ic cream sundays during reading period. But then all of the sudden, out of the blue, the teacher called my name! I was so excited! I was even more excited when I was enjoying my ice cream with some of my friends. Mmmmmm :).
3. Today, in 3rd period we got the school newspapers. When I got in there my friend told me to read this artical about the Jonas Brothers. And it said that they will be playing at our prom! We were so excited that we felt like screaming in the middle of the class. A few minutes later my friend said to me that it was an April Fools joke! She knew because there was a star at the end of the story, like this one -> *. We were so upset when we found out. But oh well, I might have not been able to go since: I wasn't a Junior or Senior and the tickets started at $210.

Oh well, on the bright side just one more day then I can say, "Hello spring break, nice of you to finally come. Please let me be able to hang out with some of my friends a least once this week."

I Think

My blogging has come to an end my friends. I just lost interest in it and have been doing lame posts. I can't keep up with it anymore, I have other Internet duties. Who knows maybe sometime in the future I will start blogging again. But for now I'm done. I'm sorry is I disappointed you. Besides I get the feeling that no one even reads my blog anymore.
